How to export a branch exam's remediation tracker to CSV

Last updated: October 17, 2026

The remediation tracker lists every outstanding finding tied to a branch examination, along with who's responsible for closing it and where each item currently stands. Use this workflow whenever you need to share a snapshot of open items with a supervisor, a branch's person in charge, or an outside reviewer, or when you simply want an offline copy of the register for your own recordkeeping.

Exporting the remediation tracker

  1. Find the branch exam. From the branch exam list, open the exam record for the location you're reviewing.
  2. Go to the Remediation tab. Each exam record has its own set of tabs (Scope & timeline, Pre-audit, Follow-up letter, Inspection, Uploaded evidence, Remediation, Notes, Notifications, Audit trail). Select Remediation — this is where every finding that requires follow-up is tracked through to closure.
  3. Narrow the list, if needed. The remediation register can be filtered by response status (Open, PIC responded, More info requested, Completed), due state (Overdue, Due soon, Upcoming, No due date, Completed), source phase (Pre-audit, Inspection, Exam), and finding type (Deficiency, Needs improvement, Satisfactory, Note of record). You can also use the search box to find a specific item by name or description. These filters and the search term determine exactly what gets exported, so apply them first if you only want a subset of items.
  4. Click "Export visible rows." This button sits in the toolbar above the table. It downloads a CSV named branch-exam-remediation.csv containing only the rows currently visible on screen — that is, whatever matches your active filters and search term, not the full unfiltered list.

What's in the CSV

Each row in the export includes the task name, description, the responsible person's name and email, finding type, source phase, due date, due state, release state, response status, and a "where it stands" summary describing the item's current state in plain language. This gives you a self-contained record you can share or archive without needing access to the platform.

A note on scope

Because the export mirrors what's on screen, clearing filters and search before exporting will give you the complete remediation register for that exam, while leaving filters in place — for example, showing only overdue, open items — produces a focused list of exactly what still needs attention.
