How to rename or delete an export in Settings > Exports
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Every report and archive generated in Hadrius is listed in Settings > Exports. Over time this list can grow long, so it helps to give exports clear, descriptive names — and to remove ones you no longer need. This article walks through both actions.
Renaming an export
From the Exports list, find the row for the export you want to rename. Click the actions menu at the end of that row to open a small menu of options for that specific export.
Select "Rename" to open the Rename export dialog. The Name field is pre-filled with the export's current name — clear it and type a new, more descriptive label so the export is easier for your team to recognize later. The name can be up to 200 characters.
Click "Save" to apply the new name. The list updates immediately to show the new name. If you click "Cancel" instead, or close the dialog without saving, the export keeps its original name. If saving fails for any reason, you'll see an error message in the dialog and can try again.
Deleting an export
To remove an export you no longer need, open that row's actions menu the same way and select "Delete." This opens a confirmation dialog asking you to confirm the removal, since deleting an export also removes access to its download — it does not just hide it from the list.
Click "Delete" in the confirmation dialog to permanently remove the export and its associated files from your list. If you change your mind, click "Cancel" to close the dialog without deleting anything.
Good to know
- Renaming and deleting apply to one export at a time — the actions menu always acts on the specific row you opened it from.
- Deleting an export cannot be undone. Once confirmed, the export and its files are no longer available for download.
- Renaming does not affect the export's contents, status, or download availability — it only changes the label shown in the list.
