How do I connect Bloomberg Messenger for archiving?

Before you begin

In order to enable the daily-file feed, Bloomberg's Support team requires you to appoint an Admin User, who is required to have either a BVault or Bloomberg Anywhere (BBA) license.

Request Bloomberg SFTP access

Reach out to your Bloomberg account manager and ask the Message Compliance team to set you up with a BB-SFTP site. In that email, include:

1. Whitelist IP address. 3.19.89.199/32

2. PGP Public Key. Download this from the Hadrius dashboard.

Add the SFTP username to Hadrius

Once Bloomberg has enabled SFTP, they will provide a username. Update the Hadrius dashboard with that username.

Set up Bloomberg Enterprise Console

Upload the Hadrius SSH public key into Bloomberg Enterprise Console (ec.bloomberg.com). The SSH key is available in the Hadrius dashboard.

Navigate to SFTP Setup

In Bloomberg Enterprise Console, go to Connectivity > SFTP > Monitoring.

Populate Hadrius SSH Key

Copy and paste the SSH key from the Hadrius dashboard into the SSH Key box in Bloomberg's Enterprise Console.

Verify IP Address Whitelist

Confirm the whitelist contains 3.19.89.199/32, the IP address from your original email. If it doesn't, add it here.
