How to setup ICE Chat Message Archiving

Last updated: August 25, 2026

In order to have Ice Chat messages archived, you MUST have ICE Chat Compliance enabled for your company

  • Contact your ICE account rep (or email icechatsupport@ice.com) to enable ICE Chat Compliance (export & delivery of logs) for your company

  • This is a billable service, sold in user buckets (e.g. up to 10 users)

Setup

  1. ICE will provide an SFTP site and send you the connection details

  2. Share these SFTP details with your Hadrius contact:

    • Host

    • Port

    • Username

    • Password

  1. Hadrius connects the SFTP site and verifies the connection

  2. ICE Chat messages export nightly. Messages typically appear in Hadrius the following day

FAQ

Q: How often are messages exported?
A: ICE chat messages are exported to the SFTP site every night

Q: Which users' messages get captured?
A: Messages from all users in your company will be captured, no per-user setup needed.

Q: Do I need to do anything on the ICE Chat app itself?
A: No. Export setup happens on ICE's backend, not in the ICE Chat desktop app or dashboard.

Q: How long does setup take?
A: Depends on ICE's turnaround for enabling compliance export and provisioning the SFTP site. Once we have your SFTP details, connecting to Hadrius takes under a day.

Q: When will I see my company's ICE chat messages on the Hadrius platform?
A: You can expect to see your messages on the platform the following day
