Account not found when adding a brokerage connection
Last updated: July 1, 2026
If you see "account not found" when adding or reconnecting a brokerage account, one of the following is usually the cause.
The account number doesn't match
Some brokerages show a shortened account number in their UI that differs from the full account number used for connections. Use the full account number from your brokerage statement, not what's displayed in the app.
The account was recently opened
New accounts sometimes take 48–72 hours to appear in the brokerage's data feed. Wait and try again.
The account type isn't supported
Hadrius connects to personal brokerage and retirement accounts. Business accounts, trust accounts, and certain institutional account types may not be supported. If the account falls into one of these categories, you may need to disclose it manually rather than via a live connection.
Your login is tied to a different account profile
If you authenticated successfully but still see "account not found," your login may be linked to a different account holder profile than the account you're trying to connect. This can happen with joint accounts or recently transferred accounts. Log in to the brokerage's website directly to confirm which accounts appear under your login before retrying.
💬 Still can't find it? Contact Hadrius support with the brokerage name and account type — we can confirm whether it's supported and advise on next steps.
